Working with Domino Access for Microsoft Outlook -
Deploying Outlook Connector for Domino -Microsoft® Office Outlook® Connector for IBM Lotus Domino is an Outlook 2002 and Office Outlook 2003 add-in that allows users to access an IBM Lotus Domino R5 or R6 server for features such as e-mail messaging, calendaring and scheduling, the address book, and To Do (task) items. This add-in replaces the Outlook 2002 Connector.
This add-in is particularly useful in environments with mixed e-mail infrastructures and in companies where employees would like the option to use Outlook 2002 or Outlook 2003 with Domino mail servers. The add-in can be installed and used on any machine properly licensed for Outlook 2002, Outlook 2003, Microsoft Office XP or the Microsoft Office System.
Domino Access for Outlook problem - download the Domino access for Outlook version 6.5.1. I am able to get Outlook to connect to domino and look at the Domino directory, but I am not able to get the replication or new messages sent. I can not see the domino calendar entries in my notes based mail file in oulook. On the replication setting in the Outlook options, I do not have a value in the drop down menu on the ""Preferred Server"" tab. Also the mail seems to leave the mail client, but I do not see any messages sent by Outlook appear in another user's Lotus Notes based email file.
These questions will help me perform a demo to help get Exchange out of this company. I can do iNotes (web access) and regular notes web access mail, but Domino access for Outlook is having some limited problems. I am not as familiar with Outlook (the verion 2002 SP2 which is the right version of this program).
There does not seem to be much in document and the 6.5.1 document is not as current to cover this newer version program. I read the past document on setting it up, but not much in testing to make sure new outlook outbound messages go to the Domino server.
